March 2018 ARMA Greater Columbus Chapter Meeting

On Thursday, March 15th, 2018, The ARMA Greater Columbus Chapter welcomes Arian D. Ravanbakhsh, who currently serves as Supervisory Records Management Policy Analyst in the Office of the Chief Records Officer at the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA). He leads the Policy and Program Support Team, which is primarily responsible for overseeing the implementation of the Managing Government Records Directive and developing NARA records management guidance for Federal Agencies. Arian has served on the Board of Directors of NAGARA and as a member of the Society of American Archivists, ARMA International, and the Mid-Atlantic Regional Archives Conference.

Arian will present on key projects produced by the Federal Electronic Records Modernization Initiative (FERMI) (including the Universal Electronic Records Management Requirements), and how the Federal Integrated Business Framework (FIBF) will include ERM in shared services across government. Come learn how NARA is helping agencies transition to digital government.

This is a lunch meeting held from 11:30 am – 2:00 pm at Hofbrauhaus Columbus in Grandview Yard in the Schalander Banquet room.
