What does neuroscience and records management have in common?
Join us on Thursday, September 21st, as our speaker, Dylan Williams invoke interests, awareness, and understanding concerning the affects neuroscience has on records management behavior. This session will incorporate neuroscientific research as a basis for explaining information behaviors – from “hoarding” to “multi tasking” – and examine the ways those behaviors contribute to records program failure. Attendees will come away with an entertaining, yet practical ways of understanding the “people-side” of change management within an evolving records program.
Dylan Williams serves as the Practice Manager for Governance, Risk & Compliance Consulting Services at RICOH, a global technology company. He leads a team that emphasizes information economics as a foundational element to the holistic discipline of Information Governance. As a Certified Records Manager and Information Governance Professional, he brings both broad strategic vision and deep tactical experience to the role – providing risk mitigation and program guidance for corporate, healthcare, legal, and government clients.
This is a lunch meeting held from 11:30 am – 2:00 pm at Hofbrauhaus Columbus in Grandview Yard in the Schalander Banquet room.
Registration cost includes lunch. Attendees can choose from the Hofbrauhaus event lunch menu which includes gluten free and vegetarian options.
